Before you publish: replace the bracketed details below with your registered business name, ABN and trading address, and confirm the wording matches how you actually work. This is a solid starting point, not legal advice.
This website is operated by Get Sorted Digital [registered business name and ABN], of [your business address], Victoria, Australia. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this site. You can reach us at contact@getsorteddigital.com.
We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a marketing mailing list because you sent an enquiry or used a free tool. If we ever run a newsletter, you will have to ask for it.
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They handle your information on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service:
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with Australian privacy expectations.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us, and then deleted. Records relating to clients are kept for as long as we work together and then for seven years, to meet tax and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The free tools do not store your answers between visits. The bot check on our forms runs in a small frame served by Cloudflare; Cloudflare’s own privacy documentation covers what that frame stores on its side. [If you add analytics, a chat widget, embedded video or a booking tool, they may set cookies — update this section and add a cookie notice before you do.]
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@getsorteddigital.com and we will respond within a reasonable period, and in any case within 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
