Geelong, Torquay, Ocean Grove, Lara, Highton, Barwon Heads, Leopold and Queenscliff are home to businesses of every size, from sole traders to firms with a dozen staff. Growing suburbs keep trades booked out, new estates keep builders stretched, and small firms supplying the city’s hospitals, schools and university still have to look as sharp as anyone in a CBD.
Geelong used to run on a handful of large manufacturers who set the pace for everyone else. Those jobs have mostly gone, replaced by hospitals, TAFE, Deakin University and a construction industry building whole new suburbs at Armstrong Creek, Lara and Leopold. The businesses that supply those institutions and building sites are often small, family-run and stretched thin, yet they still have to quote, invoice and follow up like an outfit five times their size.
Get Sorted Digital builds systems inside the accounts you already use — quoting, scheduling, follow-up, reporting — in plain English, at a fixed price agreed before work starts. We are based in Gippsland and on the Mornington Peninsula and work with businesses across Victoria, including the Bellarine and Surf Coast, without the overheads of a big agency or a subscription to a platform you cannot leave.
The parts of the local economy where the admin load is heaviest and the fixes are most straightforward.
Armstrong Creek, Lara and Charlemont are still being built out, and builders and developers there run on variations, progress claims and handover paperwork as much as on-site work. Automation that tracks a job from quote to final invoice frees up the office without adding a project manager.
New estates and older suburbs alike keep Geelong trades booked solid, and a missed call after hours is a job for whoever answers first. Automated booking, quoting and follow-up let a small team punch above its size without anyone chained to a phone.
Accountants, engineers, consultants and other firms that supply Geelong’s hospitals, TAFE and Deakin University are judged on the same polish as much larger competitors. Automated proposals, onboarding and reporting make a five-person firm read like a fifty-person one.
Not an exhaustive list — if you are nearby and not named here, we almost certainly cover you.
You will always know what is being built, what it costs and how to switch it off.
You describe a normal week. We listen for the parts that get done twice.
As it really happens, including the workarounds nobody admits to.
A written definition of done, a fixed price, tested on your real jobs.
Your team trained, documentation left behind, and a check-in a few weeks later.
Yes. Distance from central Geelong is not the issue — most of what we build runs inside software you already use, so it does not matter whether your office is in Torquay, Lara, Ocean Grove or the Geelong CBD. An initial call is done over video, and any in-person session can be arranged around what actually needs a site visit.
Small teams are exactly who benefits most, because there is nobody spare to do the manual version of the job. A one or two-person office in Barwon Heads or Highton gets more from automating a booking form or a follow-up email than a business large enough to hire extra admin staff.
Any system we build sits inside your own accounts, not a platform we control, and follows the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act for how information is collected, stored and used. For anything specific to your sector, such as health records, confirm the detail with your own adviser or the OAIC — we can flag where a build touches it, not replace that advice.
It depends on what is being automated, from a single booking form to a full quote-to-invoice workflow. Every project is fixed-price and agreed with you before any work starts, so there is no open-ended bill, and most builds are scoped after a short call about what is actually slowing your week down.
A free 20-minute call. Bring the process that annoys you most and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth automating.
